Cute Figwit Guy

By Jingles the Elf

(Sing to the tune of "American Pie" by Don Mclean)

Not so long ago
In Derby Kansas, USA,
Something weird was going on.
Well I'd thought me and
Turtle P.(ef)
Could spend just one night
Partying
And then maybe
We'd be laughing
For a while.
FigwitLives!
We logged on to
And we sang
A song or two
Then we saw a face there
All cute eyes
And dark stare.
There was an elf inside the room
Still hot even
In the gloom
He smiled at us,
And
Sealed
Our
Doom
The night
That Figwit Sang.

Well, my my this here cute Figwit guy
We stared at him for so long all we could do was sigh
He never talked, but he spoke with his eyes
And he sang so sweet, I thought I would cry
Sang so sweet I thought I would cry

Do you believe in true love?
We did, and thanked the Valar above
for arranging things just so
Turns out that he likes rock and roll
classic, pop, r&b, or soul
he saw the karaoke, then grinned slow
you know we were in love with him
we blushed, and were glad the lights were dim
then he kicked off his shoes
there wasn't a way we could lose
well, I didn't know how we could have such luck
Figwit was fun and nice, he was such a duck
Then I knew this wasn't luck
The night that Figwit sang
We started singing

Well, my my this here cute Figwit guy
We stared at him for so long all we could do was sigh
He never talked, but he spoke with his eyes
And he sang so sweet, I thought I would cry
Sang so sweet I thought I would cry

Though we'd only sung all on our own
He was here, we didn't turn to stone
We were as lively as could be
Lisa Turtles brother took just one glance
He caught sight of Figwit's leather pants
And closed the door on them and me
Oh, and while we both were scrolling down
Figwit was dancing all around
The song's page was returned
Playing new words we had learned
The elf reached over and clicked a mark
This was to be a happy lark
Singing all night in the dark
The night that Figwit sang
We started singing

Well, my my this here cute Figwit guy
We stared at him for so long all we could do was sigh
He never talked, but he spoke with his eyes
And he sang so sweet, I thought I would cry
Sang so sweet I thought I would cry

Giggling, singing, the phone was ringing
Curious neighbors were questioning
The windows were not shut fast
Some noises were getting past
Too bad our singing could get through glass
But we didn't notice through the spell he'd cast
And Figwit's voice was like sweet perfume
Because it was such an awsome tune
We all wanted to dance
Oh, but we never got the chance!
Cuz the neighbors, they had called the cops
We had about ten minutes, tops
We agreed they were stupid fops
That night that Figwit sang
We started running

Well, my my this here cute Figwit guy
We stared at him for so long all we could do was sigh
He never talked, but he spoke with his eyes
And he sang so sweet, I thought I would cry
Sang so sweet I thought I would cry

Yes, and then we ran to a far place
We to try and hide his face
So fangirls would not swarm again
O you know we ran fast and we ran quick
Till Turtle tripped on a big stick
And we had to stop and help our friend
O, it felt like we were on a stage
As we ran from her neighbors rage
I wasn't going well
We just hoped no one fell
And so we three ran into the night
Just who had given them the right
To condemn our songs, and our delight
That night that Figwit sang
Breathlessly singing

Well, my my this here cute Figwit guy
We stared at him for so long all we could do was sigh
He never talked, but he spoke with his eyes
And he sang so sweet, I thought I would cry
Sang so sweet I thought I would cry

We were starting to get the blues
We could really use some happy news
Like, "They've all gone away."
We passed right by the grocery store
To the playground I had been before
It was peaceful and empty, too late for play
And in the streets the fangirls screamed
The fig-fans sighed, and the purists dreamed
But not a word was spoken
The silence would stay unbroken
We were sad, but we were happy most
Though in the morning he'd seem a ghost
We were there, and we still could boast
With us, dear Figwit sang
One last time singing
